Nida Jooste is a Director in our Litigation Department. Her practice has a strong focus on banking and finance law, foreclosures, specialised debt collection and disciplinary and regulatory compliance for legal practitioners. She has acted for clients in a variety of sectors and industries, including private individuals as well as commercial entities including banks.

Nida commenced her legal career with Venns in 2014 and was appointed as a Director in 2021. She runs a busy general litigation practice and oversees the Foreclosures Department for one of the major banks as well as several smaller financial institutions.

She does extensive work for the Legal Practice Council’s disciplinary and regulatory departments and acts as correspondent attorney for a wide network of firms. Nida enjoys court work and regularly appears as Counsel in the High Court.

In her free time, Nida enjoys the outdoors and has an affinity for photography, leathercraft and a good game of squash.
